Dragon Boating originated in China over 2000 years ago. Hong Kong may be the birthplace, but for 12 years and counting, Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Siren Events, UAE Dragon Boat and the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation has sponsered the Annual Dragon Boat Festival.
